Support Services Committee

The Support Services Committee coordinates and staffs the Information booths during the Event. Information booths are located at the Grand Sierra Resort, downtown Reno, Victorian Square in Sparks and in Virginia City at the official kickoff. The committee is also responsible for running and coordinating the Poker Runs and the Poker Walks.

Along with the main event, Support Services Committee volunteer members build the Hot August Nights float for Sparks Hometown Christmas Parade as well as other local parades.

All meetings are held from March to July unless otherwise noted.

The Support Services Committee meets the third Wednesday of the month starting in March through October. There is no meeting in August.

All meeting dates are subject to change and unless otherwise specified are held at the Hot August Nights office (1425 E. Greg Street, Sparks) at 5:30 pm. If you miss a meeting, please check with your Chairman for a copy of the minutes.
