Operations Committee

Operations encompass a great many areas, all of which require manpower. Operations Committee organizes and provides staffing for each venue during Hot August Nights’ events, is in charge of communications, site preparation prior to the event, maintenance during it and tear down and clean up.
The Operations Committee sets up and manages the venues located at the Grand Sierra Resort, downtown Reno and Sparks. The committee also manages and sets up our Virginia City, Spring Fever, and HAN Event Series venues.

All meetings are held from March to July unless otherwise noted.
The Operations Committee meets the third Monday of the month starting in March.
All meeting dates are subject to change and unless otherwise specified are held at the Hot August Nights office (1425 E. Greg Street, Sparks) at 5:30 pm. If you miss a meeting, please check with your Chairman for a copy of the minutes.
