The Car Committee provides service throughout the year for Hot August Nights. This committee deals directly with the cars and the car participants.
Events specific to this Committee are Spring Fever, Virginia City, the Hot August Nights main event that includes Show-n-Shines and evening cruises in downtown Reno, Sparks, the main event venue, and the Sunday Parade in downtown Reno. Additionally, the committee supports the HAN Grand Finale.
During the year, Hot August Nights also participates in local special community events such as staging manpower for the Sparks Hometown Christmas parade along with other community events.
All meetings are held from March to July unless otherwise noted.
The Car Events Committee meets the second Thursday of the month starting in March.
All meeting dates are subject to change and unless otherwise specified are held at the Hot August Nights office (1425 E. Greg Street, Sparks) at 5:30 pm. If you miss a meeting, please check with your Chairman for a copy of the minutes.
