All registered vehicles must carry automobile liability coverage with minimum limits of $15,000/$30,000 bodily injury and $10,000 property damage. The Undersigned acknowledges and understands that no insurance is available for coverage of the Undersigned unless otherwise provided by private insurance or obtained by the Undersigned.

Entry and Advertising Release: In consideration of this entry, car owner and spouse/guest agree to permit Hot August Nights, Inc. the use of their names and pictures, and pictures of their cars for publicity, advertising, and commercial purposes (including newspapers, magazines, website, radio and television) before, during and after the Event and do hereby relinquish any rights whatsoever to any photos taken in connection with the Event and give permission to publish, sell or otherwise dispose of said photographs to Hot August Nights, Inc. All publicity and advertising rights reserved by Hot August Nights, Inc.

Operation: Event management reserves the right to restrict entrants to acceptable behavior during any and all activities of Hot August Nights, Inc. Open headers, unnecessary tirespin, or any other reason an entrant or his/her vehicle, their appearance or conduct are deemed objectionable by Event management, entrant and his/her vehicle will be subject to eviction from the Event. This includes persons, things, conduct, printed matter or an act or item of poor character which the management considers objectionable to the Event’s well being. In the case of eviction or restriction, Hot August Nights, Inc. is not liable for refunding entry fees except at its own discretion.

Liability: In consideration of acceptance the right to participate, entrance, partici- pants and spectators, by execution of this entry form release and discharge Hot August Nights, Inc., the State of Nevada, Virginia City, Storey County and their officers, directors, trustees, employees, agents, representatives, volunteers, and servants and anyone else connected with the management or presentation of Hot August Nights of and from any and all known or unknown damages, injuries, losses, judgements, and/or claims, from any cause whatsoever that may be suffered by entrant to his person or property. Further, each entrant expressly agrees to indemnify all of the foregoing entities, firms, persons and bodies of and from any and all liability occasioned or resulting from the conduct of entrants or any participants assisting or cooperating with entrants and under the direction and control of entrants. Entrants agree that participation in any contests, games, or activities may be limited.

Registered participants must be 18 years of age or older. I have read this form and agree to all conditions of the Hot August Nights application and the rules governing the Event as set forth on this form and agree to observe all rules and direction of Event management.

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE FIRST 400, 1979 AND OLDER CLASSIC CARS, PICKUP SIZE TRUCKS, AND EMERGENCY VEHICLES ONLY.

REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED AFTER JUNE 1ST ARE NOT GUARANTEED A COMPLETE PACKET.

No refunds or cancellations after July 1, 2020.
All cancellations are subject to a $15 processing fee and must be submitted in writing.

HOT AUGUST NIGHTS - VIRGINIA CITY RULES AND REGULATIONS

Location of Check-in is to be determined. Location will be in your final confirmation. Check-in will be held on Friday, July 31st, 2020 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on August 1st, 2020 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Some regulations of the Event are as follows:

The 2020 Hot August Nights Virginia City Show is open to 1979 and older classic cars, pickup size trucks, and emergency vehicles only. Any registered vehicle that is in violation or misrepresentation of these defined criteria will be removed from the Event. The registration window sticker will also be removed from the vehicle and all registration monies paid to Hot August Nights will be forfeited. Registered car participants must be 18 years or older.

Hot August Nights reserves the right to cancel any registration found not to meet requirements of Hot August Nights Vehicle specifications.

All registered vehicles must carry automobile liability coverage with minimum limits of $15,000/$30,000 bodily injury and $10,000 property damage. Proof of insurance for the car you have registered will be required at Check-in.

For safety reasons, use of hydraulics is prohibited during any official Hot August Nights activity during which the Hot August Nights identification sticker is displayed in the window of the car.

No politically affiliated printed material or “For Sale” signs are allowed on registered cars during Hot August Nights activities.

Participants may not sell merchandise of any type.

Cancellations must be in writing and received no later than June 1, 2020. No refunds or cancellations after June 1, 2020. All cancellations are subject to a $15.00 processing fee. Due to liability waiver requirements HOT AUGUST NIGHTS ENTRIES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE and CANNOT BE SOLD by anyone other than Hot August Nights, Inc. The Hot August Nights car registration sticker to be given at Check-In can only be used on the Hot August Nights registered car.

Event Management reserves the right to restrict entrants to acceptable behavior during any and all activities of Hot August Nights, Inc. Open headers, unnecessary tirespin, or any other dangerous or inappropriate behavior will result in management eviction of an entrant and/or his/her vehicle. Law enforcement will confiscate window sticker and possibly cite any violators. In case of eviction, Hot August Nights will not refund entry fees.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP HOT AUGUST NIGHTS INFORMED IF YOU CHANGE THE CAR YOU WILL BE BRINGING. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOUR DISQUALIFICATION OF ANY AWARDS GIVEN.

With your registration you will receive issues of our Hot Flashes newsletter; it will be the only other means of written communication you will receive from Hot August Nights. Be sure to read it! Don’t forget, you must bring proof of current DMV registration and car insurance with you to participant Check-In.
