Car Participant Check-In is responsible for organizing the car packets that are distributed to the car participants and checking in all registered car participants. This includes the packing of the large and small packets and the organization and distribution of packets. This committee also registers car participants for the Poker Walk.
Our monthly Check-in meetings are typically held the 4th Monday of the month at the Hot August Nights office. Once again we will feature:
- Up-to-the-minute information from the Hot August Nights office
- Check-in area demos and practice
- Sign-ups for days & times to work Check-in (1st come/1st served)
- Something for your hands to do! That’s right… something to keep your hands busy. Instead of just sitting there listening, you will have the opportunity to help us assist the Hot August Nights office with such things as bundling shoe laces, tying laces on member placards, stuffing envelopes, etc. We did that last year, and found that new friendships were formed during our after-meeting work parties as we shared snacks, tasks, and stories. Please plan to join us in the fun this year!
