In advance of the premier classic car and rock ‘n’ roll main event, Spring Fever Revival rolls into downtown Reno on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18. In conjunction with the downtown properties, Hot August Nights celebrates the classics each spring with a Celebrity Choice Show-n-Shine, DJ entertainment, official memorabilia, food booths, and over 40 street vendors!
During the weekend event, registered participants will have the chance to compete for the prestigious honor to be one of Hot August Nights’ featured automobiles on its commemorative poster and other prominent marketing materials for the following year.
“It’s time to kick off the year by celebrating these timeless classics that make Hot August Nights the world’s premier classic car show that it is,” said Mike Whan, executive director of Hot August Nights. “Spring Fever Revival is also the only time that participants can show off their vehicles to Heather Libretti, our Marketing & PR Manager as she picks up to five vehicles that will be photographed and featured on the cover of Hot Flashes as well as promotional and advertising memorabilia—with one photo being selected to as the 33rd Hot August Nights Official Poster.”
Spring Fever Revival will take place on Virginia St. in downtown Reno from 1st to 6th, and all side streets from Center to Sierra from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration for the springtime event is open to all 1979 and older vehicles with free entrance for all 2019 Hot August Nights registered car participants. Each registrant will receive a window sticker, commemorative dash plaque and other items. A $40 entry fee will be charged for all non-registered car participants. This is also one of the last chances to register for the main event and receive three Hot August Nights sanctioned events—Spring Fever Revival, Hot August Nights main event and Fall Frenzy—for the price of $170.
