Is there a limit to the number of classic car registrations?

To ensure the best experience for our participants, we sell 6,000 car Participant Registrations for the main event, 400 for Virginia City Kickoff and 500 for Spring Fever.

The Hot August Nights headline concerts located at the outdoor stages at the Grand Sierra Resort and at the Nugget Event Center in downtown Sparks are FREE. Check out our entertainment lineup.

Reno-Sparks casinos also offer a variety of entertainment.

What type of seating is available at the outdoor concerts at the Grand Sierra Resort and the Nugget Event Center?

The Grand Sierra Resort has no outdoor bleachers or permanent seating for concerts.  We suggest The Garage at GSR, presented by D&S Tow Inc., or The Headlight Lounge at GSR, our preferred seating areas serving 21+ guests, or bring your own low-back folding chair from which to enjoy the concert.

Unattended chairs that are left overnight will be removed as well as unattended chairs that may blow down or create an unsafe environment.  Do not remove the chairs from the food court as they are there for those who are dining.

At the Nugget Event Center in downtown Sparks, there will be outdoor seating from the bleachers to view the concert. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you'd like to secure a seat at the Nugget Event Center, we suggest The Garage at The Nugget, presented by Quick Space, or our reserved concert seating.

Where can I purchase official Hot August Nights merchandise?

Our online store is open to purchase your favorite Hot August Nights merchandise and posters.

For all other merchandise, during the event, there will be merchandise tents located at most of our venues, Car Participant Check-In, and at our official merchandise store located at the outside venue at the Grand Sierra Resort. Check the event schedule for locations and times.
