Is there a limit cap to car registration?

Hot August Nights 2024 Reno/Sparks registration opens November 1st, 2023. Don’t wait until the last minute, make sure to secure your spot ASAP as some shows do sell out fast!

Is the Event held in one location?

Hot August Nights is held at several different venues during the week: After the kickoff event in Virginia City, we set up in downtown Reno, downtown Sparks, the Atlantis Casino Resort, Baldini’s Casino, Grand Sierra Resort, Peppermill Resort Spa Casino Reno, the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center (Swap Meet, Cool Car Showroom & Outdoor Car Corral) and the Reno-Sparks Convention Center (Hot August Nights Auction presented by MAG Auctions). Along with additional pre-event or single day venue such as Summit Racing. View the map here.

Are tickets needed for the Event? If so, how much are they and where can they be purchased?

All tickets can be purchased on our store here.

Tickets for the Hot August Nights Auction presented by MAG Auctions ($15 per day; 2-day pass for $25; Senior/Military $10), Drag Races & Burnouts can be purchased nightly for $15. Entrance into the Hot August Nights Swap Meet, Cool Car Showroom & Outdoor Car Corral is $15. The Hot August Nights headline concerts located at the outdoor stages at the Grand Sierra Resort and at the Nugget Event Center in downtown Sparks are free. Entrance into The Garage, our preferred seating area at the Grand Sierra Resort, passes range from $50 – $75 daily with all week pass for $300.

Reno & Sparks casinos will have ticketed concerts with sales available through their websites and ticket outlets prior to the Event.  For a list of free and ticketed concerts, check out our entertainment lineup click here.

What type of seating is available at the outdoor concerts at the Grand Sierra Resort and downtown Sparks?

The Grand Sierra Resort has no outdoor bleachers or permanent seating for concerts.  We suggest The Garage, our preferred seating area serving 21+ guests or bring your own low back folding chair from which to enjoy the concert.  Unattended chairs that are left over night will be removed as well as unattended chairs that may blow down or create an unsafe environment will also be removed.  Do not remove the chairs from the food court as they are there for those who are dining.  At the Nugget Event Center in downtown Sparks there will be outdoor seating from which to view the concert.

Where can I purchase official Hot August Nights merchandise?

Our online store is open to purchase your favorite Hot August Nights merchandise and posters. For all other merchandise, during the Event there will be merchandise tents located at the Atlantis Casino Resort, Peppermill Resort Spa Casino Reno, downtown Reno and downtown Sparks venues, Car Participant Check-In and at our official merchandise store located at the outside venue at the Grand Sierra Resort.

Are there vehicles available to buy at the event?

Cars can be sold or purchased at either the Hot August Nights Auction presented by MAG Auctions located at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center or the Hot August Nights Cool Car Corral & Showroom located at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Event Center.
