Spring Fever Revival Cancelled for 2020

Hot August Nights Pre-Kickoff Event in downtown Reno has been canceled

Spring Fever Revival slated for Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 in downtown Reno has been canceled.

After close monitoring of the current situation and much discussion with all parties involved, it is with heavy hearts that the decision was made to cancel this year’s Spring Fever Revival event. The event was free to all 2020 registered car participants and a precursor to the Main event in August.

“Our primary concern is the safety of our event and everyone that’s involved with it. Due to the circumstances surrounding our great nation and the state of Nevada, right now we feel that it is the only responsible thing to do” says Executive Director, Mike Whan.

“We have not come to this decision lightly but solely out of caution for the health and wellbeing of our community and future Hot August Nights events.” In the coming days we will continue to work diligently on the production of the Hot August Nights Virginia City event, July 31st and August 1st and the Main event, August 4th through the 9th.
