SPECIAL HOT AUGUST NIGHTS RIVER WALK WINE WALK TO BENEFIT HOT AUGUST NIGHTS FOUNDATION
Saturday, August 2nd the River Walk Merchants Association in downtown Reno will host the first Hot August Nights Wine Walk from 3 PM until 6 PM.
This special Wine Walk will benefit the Hot August Nights Foundation…a Foundation helping local kids in need and at risk. The Foundation works with kids in economically oppressed areas to make sure that their educational and personal needs are met. Also in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows the Foundation has awarded eighty full four year college scholarships in the just two years.
Upwards of thirty River Walk Merchants will be participating in this special Wine Walk. Participants will be able to purchase wine walk glasses and tickets/maps at any of the participating Wine Walk locations for $25.00. $7.50 of each wine card sold will go directly to the Hot August Nights Foundation.
Fetzer is the Official Wine of Hot August Nights, thus a wide variety of Fetzer wines will be served/sampled exclusively on this Wine Walk. Each Wine Walk participant will be given a free souvenir commemorative Hot August Nights Fetzer wine glass.
A collection of Hot August Nights classic cars will be on display during this special Hot August Nights River Walk Merchants Wine Walk.
Each of the River Walk Merchants participating in the Wine Walk will be holding drawings for $25.00 gift certificates redeemable at their respective businesses.
This Wine Walk will culminate at the Wild River Grille at 17 South Virginia Street at 6 PM at which time additional prize drawings will take place. The Wine Walk participants will have the opportunity to win special bottles of Fetzer selected wines and official Hot August Nights 2008 souvenir merchandise.
This special Hot August Nights Wine Walk will be limited to the first 1,000 participants who buy their Wine Walk tickets/maps. Tickets/maps for this Wine Walk can be purchased in advance at The Wild River Grille, beginning June 15th.
