Spring Fever

HOT AUGUST NIGHTS SPRING FEVER CAR SHOW
& SWAP MEET TO BE HELD ON MAY 17TH

It’s time once again for our annual Spring Fever celebration! The event will be held on May 17th at the Atlantis Casino Resort.

The event will include a show-n-shine, music, food for car participants and a mini swap meet featuring up to 50 swap meet vendors selling a variety of items.

As everyone knows a swap meet starts early, so Spring Fever will begin at 8 am and end at 3 pm. If you or a friend are interested in having a swap meet booth, print out and send in the application ASAP.

The show-n-shine is open to all 1972 or older American cars, pickup size trucks, emergency vehicles and European classics. Awards will handed out for the Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Truck, Best Car and the Best of Show. In addition to our car awards, we will once again have a Spirit Award given to the car club with the most participating classic vehicles.

Also at the Event, our Charities Committee will be selling bakery treats, coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of items. Along with their sales booth, the committee will also be raising money with a 50/50 raffle.

In addition to the 50/50 raffle, make sure to purchase a raffle ticket for our 2008 raffle car a 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Hardtop. This classic is by B&T Custom Rod and Silver Auctions. Tickets prices are 1 for $1, 6 for $5, 30 for $25 and 150 for $100. Proceeds go to support the Hot August Nights Foundation.

Also make sure to purchase some Hot August Nights goodies at our two merchandise booths. We will have an Oldies Emporium booth featuring t-shirts, hats, pins, etc. from our 1986 - 2003 events along with more recent Hot August Nights merchandise including t-shirts, sweatshirts, coffee mugs, etc.

If you are interested in volunteering for Hot August Nights, make sure to visit our raffle car booth. Volunteers will be on hand to provide information on the areas we need your help and let you know about all the fun to be had as a Hot August Nights Volunteer Member.
