HOT AUGUST NIGHTS ANNOUNCES ITS

NEW SOUTH LAKE TAHOE EXPERIENCE

Bruce Walter Executive Director and C.E.O. of Hot August Nights today announced the creation of a brand new event and location for Hot August Nights 2010. Walter said “We are extremely pleased to announce this superb and fantastic new Hot August Nights South Lake Tahoe Experience which will be held July 30, 31, and August 1, 2010 in the totality of South Lake Tahoe. This new three day event expands Hot August Nights days of operation and provides an extremely different and unique event for Hot August Nights visitors and registered car owners.”

The Reno-based Hot August Nights classic car event attracts more than 800,000 people annually.

The South Lake Tahoe Experience will complement virtually everything Hot August Nights has to offer including daily Show-n-Shines with cash and trophy awards, Poker Walks with cash awards to the winners, a Cool Car Showroom, a Classic Car Auction, automotive exhibits, special night time cruising at South Lake Tahoe, vendors, an automotive Swap Meet, a Sock Hop/Prom and great free fifties and sixties style live entertainment daily on all of the outdoor stages.

Car registration is open to all 1972 and older American and European cars and trucks. Car registration is only fifty dollars and each car registrant will receive a very special commemorative Event shirt and hat, free Poker Walk hand, dash plaque, and an assortment of other items. Car registration Check-in will be at the Montbleu Resort Casino Spa and it will open with the following schedule to accommodate Check-in: Thursday, July 29 from 4 PM until 8 PM, Friday July 30 from 8 AM until 7 PM, and Saturday, July 31 from 8 AM until 12 Noon.

Make sure you register immediately as space is limited. Registration deadline is May 15, 2010.

The Hot August Nights South Lake Tahoe Experience is being sponsored by the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, MontBleu Resort Casino Spa, Harvey’s Resort & Casino, Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, Lakeside Inn and Casino, Embassy Suites Lake Tahoe Hotel and Ski Resort, the Horizon Casino Resort and Heavenly Mountain Resort.

Each of the participating South Lake Tahoe Properties is also listed on the home page of the Hot August Nights web site with a direct link to their respective registration desks. It is strongly recommended that hotel reservations get booked immediately as occupancy will fill quickly. The properties have also posted special rates for the Hot August Nights South Lake Tahoe Experience.
