CAR JUDGING & AWARDS COMMITTEE

This committee works to coordinate all judged show-n-shines, awards presentations and selection of trophies.

COMMITTEE CHAIR - JEANINE REDDICKS

Hi everyone.  My name is Jeanine Reddicks, and I am the chairman of the Judging & Awards committee.  I joined Hot August Nights in 1992 as a member of the dance team, not only did I dance for Hot August Nights but I also worked in the hot trailers selling drinks at the nostalgia fair, helping to keep the order in the parades and was even lucky enough to escort Jan and Dean.   I danced with the team for eight years and was director for three years.  I unfortunately or fortunately had to quit dancing to have my first baby which turned out to be twins (I now have three beautiful boys).  I have had the privilege of helping my husband Chris when he was the chairman of Hospitality and have also had the opportunity to work with the finance, check-in and car committees. 

Helping me with this committee is a long time friend that I made through Hot August Nights, Kandee Chaney-Arevald.  She also became a member in ‘92 and has been with Hot August Nights on and off since then.
