Greetings, all! We will continue our monthly Check-in meetings starting in March 2008.

Once again we will feature: * Up-to-the-minute information from the HAN office * Check-in area demos and practice * Sign-ups for days & times to work Check-in (1st come/1st served) * Something for your hands to do That’s right. . .something to keep your hands busy. Instead of just sitting there listening, you will have the opportunity to help us assist the HAN office with such things as bundling shoe laces, tying laces on member placards, stuffing envelopes, etc. We did that last year, and found that new friendships were formed during our after-meeting work parties as we shared snacks, tasks, and stories. Please plan to join us in the fun this year!

It is quite a task to greet and process 5500 participants to get them started on a fun fantastic week at Hot August Nights. Many of our volunteers are also participants. For those participants who want to join in the fun and see Hot August Nights from the other side, come on and sign up to volunteer! You can sign up on-line at hotaugustnights.net. Even better, bring a friend or a few along to become members along with you. The more the merrier, AND “many hands make light work.”
